Wireless Communication

Do you know who invented Wireless Communication?

The true laboratory is the mind, where behind illusions we uncover the laws of truth.
Sir Jagadish Chandra bose.

{Biologist, Physicist, Botanist and an early writer of science Fiction}

Let's move to history.

Born on 30 November 1858 in Munshiganj district, Bengal Presidency (present-day Bangladesh).
graduated from St. Xavier's College, Calcutta. After then he went to the University of London, England to study Medicine but could not continue because of health problems (odour).
Because of this problem, he join Presidency College as a Professor of Physics and he earns 100Rs. a Month.
Despite Racial Discrimination, he continues his scientific research.

Before James Clerk Maxwell's experiment verified, he died in 1879. and in between 1886 and 1888, german physicist Heinrich Hertz published the results of his experiments on electromagnetism (existence of electromagnetic waves). After that Oliver Lodge demonstrated that their (Hertzian Waves) similarity to light and vision including reflection and transmission at distances up to 50 meters.
This was published in the book and spread in all corners of the world and caught the attention of scientists including Bose in India.

Bose's first research was that he reduced the wave up to 5 millimeters. During a November 1894 public demonstration at Townhall of Kolkata, Bose ignited gunpowder and rang a bell at a distance using millimeter range wavelength microwaves. Bose also wrote an essay"Adrisya Alok" meaning that Invisible Light.
That invisible light can easily pass through brick walls, buildings, etc. therefore, messages can be transmitted by means of it without the wires.

He also invented Crescograph, a device that measures the growth in plants. This device uses a series of clockwork gears and a smoked glass plate to record the movement of the tip of the plant. And this device also marks the plate automatically. A micrometer is used to adjust and calibrate the system. It can record plant growth, magnifying a small movement as much as 10,000,000 times.
